Heather
Heather recently graduated from the University of Denver with a bachelors of science in Environmental Science and a minor in Mathematics while participating on the NCAA Division I women's soccer team. As a student-athlete, she used her spare time to lead the Student Athlete Advisory Committee as Co-President. A Los Angeles native, Heather returned home to follow a career path in water sustainability and to pursue a masters degree in Environmental Science. Recently, she has been coaching soccer at her previous soccer club, CZ Elite, where she has been working with kids ages 8-18 on developing their soccer skills as well as their teamwork, leadership, and problem solving skills.
As a coach, she loves to teach the kids to solve problems and ask questions on their own to develop their skills as a player. She likes to bring this practice to the children she tutors to help teach them problem solving while boosting their confidence as students. She is proud to bring the qualities she learned as student-athlete and coach to her tutoring.
