Marielle
Marielle moved Los Angeles a couple years ago to start the position of Invest Director for the government of Flanders, Northern region of Belgium. In her role, she has been responsible for attracting and supporting American companies that want to set up and expand their footprint in Europe via Flanders. She has been assisting foreign companies by providing legal and fiscal aspects of setting up a business, had been organizing site visits and facilitates introductions to the right partners Previously, Marielle was a Regional Director at The Oil & Gas Year, company specialized in international media featuring country-by-country interviews with the key stakeholders of the international energy industry. The books she was producing offered a clear picture of the global oil and gas industry and its associated sectors from banking and finance to midstream and downstream. In this capacity she was responsible for interviewing the key executives and leaders to portray the business opportunities available in a specific country. Some assignments include the following countries: Indonesia, Gabon, Angola, Texas and many more. Prior to this, Marielle worked as a Director of International Relations for the Big Media Group - a global holding corporation specialized in international media consulting and branding realized through the production of televised business analysis programs, economic risk assessment reports, promotional country surveys and investment guides. In this capacity, she was responsible for government negotiations and relationship building on behalf of all Big Media Group’s subsidiaries Marielle is graduated from the Catholic University of Louvain-La-Neuve in Political Sciences and Communication. Additionally, she completed an Erasmus in Denmark at the Aarhus business
