Shelby
Shelby is a recent graduate of UCLA, completing a bachelors of science in environmental sciences and a minor in civil and environmental engineering. A Seattle native, Shelby had always enjoyed snowboarding, water skiing, and hiking. Shelby has used her knowledge of earth science and engineering to complete several internships for water districts and law firms as well as laboratory research on nanotechnology in UCLA’s Water Technologies group. Most recently, Shelby completed a capstone research project under UCLA’s Institute of the Environment and Sustainability in partnership with environmental nonprofit WildEarth Guardians, serving as the project’s manager and co-editor. Shelby also serves as a student mentor for UCLA’s environmental student network.
